These sample files are provided to further clarify the file format descriptions in the manual.  Some files are zipped to reduce their size (in these cases a small unzipped fragment is provided for immediate viewing).

(Note that the Candida albicans genome and genes used in these files are out of date, and should not be used for anything other than tutorial purposes.)

Sample Files

Import→Sequence Set→Format: FASTA
file (zipped) / fragment
This file contains the Candida albicans genome sequence utilized in the tutorial.

Import→Location Set→Format: MochiView
file (zipped) / fragment
This file contains the Candida albicans array probe locations utilized in the tutorial.

Import→Data Set→Format: MochiView (by Location)
Import→Location/Data Set→Format: MochiView
file (zipped) / fragment
This file contains the Candida albicans ChIP-chip data utilized in the tutorial. The locations correspond to the array probe file provided above. Thus, if the array probes have already been loaded as a Location Set the Import Data Set utility should be used. Otherwise, the same file could be used with the Import Location/Data Set utility to simultaneously import the array probe Location Set and the Data Sets.

ImportLocation Set (genes)→Format: MochiView
file (zipped) / fragment / isoforms fragment
This file contains the Candida albicans genes utilized in the tutorial. The ‘isoforms fragment’ file provides a small example of how multiple isoforms of a gene are represented using the MochiView file format.

Import→Location Set (alignment)→Format: MochiView
file (zipped) / fragment
This file contains a multiple alignment of the Candida albicans genome utilized in the tutorial and four other genomes (C. tropicalisC. dubliniensisC. albicansassembly 21, and C. albicans strain WO1).

Import→Motif→Format: MochiView
file
This file contains the frequency matrices of the two Motifs utilized in the tutorial.  For an example of motif files containing the more detailed file header format, check the libraries on the Motif libraries download page.
